Job Summary
Envergia is seeking motivated individuals to join our Shipping and Receiving Department in a Logistics/Administration role. This position plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our logistics processes, focusing on the management of inbound and outbound shipments, carrier interactions, and administrative duties.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the scheduling of both inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring timely and efficient logistics operations.
- Ensure that all inbound and outbound loads comply with DOT (Department of Transportation) requirements.
- Manage interactions with Less-than-Truckload (LTL) carriers and Truckload carriers, both internally and externally.
- Analyze current logistics procedures and provide recommendations for process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Handle the proper administration of paperwork, including filing and maintaining accurate records as required for the role.
Key Qualifications/Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or production setting is essential.
- Experience with HazMat and DOT regulations is required.
- General computer knowledge, including familiarity with basic office software, is necessary.
